Elsie C. DiPalma, 91, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at her home.
She was born April 15, 1924 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Mrs. DiPalma was a loving and devoted military wife while her late husband served in the United States Navy. During World War II, she worked in a parachute factory. Later in her life she became a teacher’s aide in the public school system. In 1982, she and her husband moved to Cape Coral from their home in Ferndale, MI. Mrs. DiPalma volunteered with the Special Populations, an organization for the mentally disabled. She was also involved with the Ladies Auxilliary of the Knights of Columbus, and attended St. Andrew Catholic Church.
