Shovels will soon be in the ground as the city is set to begin the latest phase of its Utilities Expansion Project.

The city council paved the way for the North 2 phase of the UEP to start in early August by voting unanimously to approve three resolutions that set the assessments for potable water, wastewater, and irrigation.

North 2 will be the first phase of the UEP north of Pine Island Road, which is the geographical center point of Cape Coral.
