On the Agenda: Cape Coral City Council Meeting Preview (Mar. 6)

The city council will hold its first of two March regular meetings this afternoon.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 1015 Cultural Park Blvd., Cape Coral. The meeting is open to the public.

Bimini Basin Project 'Open House' scheduled for Mar. 9

Redevelopment Management Associates (RMA) will be hosting an informal “Open House” on Thursday, March 9

During the event, attendees can view information and ask questions about the Bimini Basin Redevelopment project. 

RMA was hired to serve as the City’s Project Manager for the Bimini Basin Redevelopment project.

The open house will take place from 9:30am to 7:00pm at the Chester Street Resource Center, located at 4816 Chester Street.

Cape Coral in Pictures: Celebrate Cape Night Parade 2017

This past Saturday, the South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Associations (SCHEA) added yet another event to their ever growing list, as the hosted the inaugural Celebrate Cape Night Parade along SE 47th Terrace.

The parade was held to mark the 60th anniversary of the Rosen Brothers' original land purchase of 103 acres on the Redfish Point peninsula that would become Cape Coral.

Billed as the only evening parade in Cape Coral, the event got off to a strong start with over 40 units participating and a few thousand people lining SE 47th Terrace to enjoy the parade.

CCPD Traffic Enforcement Update (Mar. 6)

The Cape Coral Police Department Traffic Unit is providing this notice as part of their continuing efforts to increase traffic safety awareness and education.

These daily notices (Monday-Friday) will identify possible locations that the department are conducting enforcement operations and results from the previous day's operation.

All is being done by the department to emphasize the importance of obeying traffic laws to reduce traffic crashes, injuries, and deaths on our roads here in Cape Coral.
