Cape Coral in Pictures: Cape Coral Sprint Triathlon 2017

This past Saturday, the City of Cape Coral's Parks & Recreation Department hosted its eighth annual Cape Coral Sprint Triathlon.

This year's race saw the event return to its traditional May calendar after being held last year in October due to a parking lot resurfacing project at the Yacht Club.

As always, the race began on the beach of the Cape Coral Yacht Club with dozens of racers diving into the waters of the Caloosahatchee River just after 7:00am as they undertook a grueling course through the city's historic district.
