Kelly Swan has practiced Colon Hydrotherapy in Greenwich, Connecticut since 1996. She has helped many clients over the years regain more efficiency in eliminating toxins and in turn, create a greater sense of vitality.

Swan is a graduate of the Wood Hygienic Institute in Florida and received her certification in the practice of Gravity Colon Hydrotherapy in 1996. After relocating to Florida, she attended The Florida Academy where she received a Massage License. Kelly utilizes the Gravity Method exclusively. Upon moving to Cape Coral in 2014, Swan opened Cape Coral Colonics.

Swan has a passion for helping and teaching. While getting her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University, she worked as a recreational therapist in a nursing home where she cultivated her sensitivity for the suffering. Upon graduation with a dual major in English and Writing, Kelly moved to Japan to teach English as a second language for a year. Having an exploratory nature, Kelly embraced a foreign culture and returned with a broader vision on life, and people.

Swan brings her life experiences and an open heart to her work, and in turn, helps people to explore inner wellness.

Recently, Swan sat down to discuss her business, Cape Coral Colonics.

Can you describe your business?

The focus at Cape Coral Colonics is finding the best combination of Colonics, diet, exercise and practices to ensure that the results of our clients’ sessions are maintained, allowing them to live with a renewed vitality that will enhance their life. Clients will walk out with a sense of well-being, and lightness.

What makes Cape Coral Colonics unique?

The technique of Colon Hydrotherapy is an ancient and gentle method. Cape Coral Colonics uses a very simple style using gravity to perform the cleanse. There is no extra or unnecessary pressure. Our staff is connected through the process in a very tangible way, and the application is gentle.  Cape Coral Colonics has also created a comfortable environment and space.

Cape Coral Colonics is also excited with the addition of the BioMat. The BioMat is an FDA approved bed of Amethyst crystals that conducts far infrared light waves and negative Ions and promotes cleansing six inches deep into all body tissues. What this means for a colonic is more release of dormant toxicity and acidic waste. It is also a wonderful way to relax. Your body will feel like it is taking a mini-vacation.

How did you get into the business?

I started in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1996. I started in the business because of a passion for helping and teaching. I feel I have a strong sensitivity to those who suffer and a desire to help others explore their inner wellness.

Greatest success

Having run a successful business in Connecticut, a great success was moving to Florida and being able to open my practice in Cape Coral. I also find great success in helping others become more in touch with their health and wellness.

Biggest Challenge

Due to the rather personal nature of Colonics, there can understandably be some trepidation in making that first step. This is a nice teaching tool to have a deeper relationship with yourself, but it is still not an easy conversation to have.

What are your future plans for Cape Coral Colonics?

To continue to grow the practice in a safe, healthy and reputable way.
